Chrysler, you missed the mark with your “glamour” ad commercial earlier this year, though it was close to a great ad.

You did it perfect for the Super Bowl XLV, however.  I guess if you are waiting until the opportunity to spend $3.5 million to air it to the largest captive audience ever, this is the right time to get it perfect.

Beautiful.  Truly beautiful.  Every part in it may be made overseas (as my jaded family points out) with it assembled in Detroit.  That, I cannot say.

I can say, however, this commercial makes me want to buy a Chrysler.  And revel in being American. Which the other gimmicky-yet-popular automobile company commercial (hello, Star Wars lovers) failed to do completely.  All I did there was think the last three seconds of their commercial was “Awwww!” worthy.

We are all Detroit, thanks to you Chrysler,
